Rear stub axle

Hi everyone, I need some advise for removing rear stub axle. Is there a diy way or will it needed pressing out professionally. Many thanks Steve

Stonedrive.
Professionally, and carefully at that. It may take several tons on a press to free the taper, and if done carelessly that could internally weaken, or even fracture the stub axle, giving rise to it failing on the road..
Whoever does it needs to know what they are doing.
