    Steering rack

My Stag steering rack is leaking quite a bit of fluid. What is thought to be a recon rack came with the carso I'm thinking of fitting it. The Triumph manual suggests this is a straightforward job buthas anyone got experience that supports that? One thing concerning me is the shortage of space to remove the old rack. Sorry if this has been covered recently - I did a search and can't see that it has. Thanks.

It's not too difficult; NS exhaust can stay connected.

Did the one on my first Stag ,don't remember it being that bad to do.Obviosly you will need to get it tracked afterwards.I would count the turns on the track rod ends and try and get the new one the same or you may have to remove the steering wheel and recenter it.

      Cheers Steve
