first thing you’ll need to do is get the door card off Jimmy. Then you can disconnect the rods and undo two small bolts and take the handle out. The lock barrel fit into a slot in the handle from memory so not sure it can easily rotate.
ROM is good for this disassembly procedure.

Once the outer handle is off I think you will find that the clip has come off the inside end of the lock barrel, check this parts diagram on the brothers website for the order of washers and clips that hold the barrel in place

edited to add, be very careful if you take the barrel assy out of the handle. Always insert the key into the lock before removing the barrel. else the levers and springs that make up the lock might fall out. The key will hold everything in place
