Ignition Lock barrel Shear Bolts...removal?

Just before I go down the removal stage in a flurry of ill-fitting screwdrivers etc, any body got a talk through or tips for the removal of these or is it straightforward...stop laughing at the back there!

I have always managed to undo them by tapping the cone-shaped head round bit by bit with the edge of a small chisel, or a sharp pointed punch. Once you have loosened them they usually unscrew easily.

As Mike says, or use a Dremel-type tool to cut a slot for a flat blade screwdriver.

Don't you just hate these slot cutting jobs... I had to use a dremel in the end to put a slot on the heater valve screw, after every trick in the book failed.

Yes but had to remove screw. Puller was well made, I would never do that job again rather freeze to death in the Stag. My back was hurting for 3 months after fixing the heater.
