I have found my fuel problem is caused by my Weber not holding pressure.
With ignition on fuel pressure is 2.7 psi, and pump clicks every second. With the hose removed from the carb and plugged, after ignition on, 3 clicks, 3.8psi and silence.
I seem to have adjusted the pressure regulator fully open to try to get to 3.0 psi.
I have never stripped the carb down before as it has not done many miles. I assume my tinkering with the fuel tank has allowed some muck in.
Is there a most obvious culprit, float valve? I have no visible leaks or smell of fuel. ( car not me)
I cannot find a Weber exploded parts diagram anywhere.
Any help much appreciated.
