Dark Green Stag on trailer passing Corby

I just saw a dark green Stag on a trailer behind a silver transit heading towards Rockingham, looks fresh from rebuild, somebody is going to be very happy as it looked immaculate.

Don't let them wind you up - I think it looks fabulous. Pity there isn't a green emoticon

                      Yes it's arrived

Poor old Doug, He won't be home until about 10.00pm after setting out at around 6.30am. (had a job in Leicester en route) Very professional he was too, can thoroughly recommend Him.

As the Grand kids are staying this weekend, I'm banned from spending time on the car at the mo. It's not perfect, like most others, dripping some oil (diff. pinion oil seal etc.) tidy under the bonnet, although one of the valves needs re-shimming by the sound of it. Good interior.

It needs a good blast having done 5000 miles in 6 years and tomorrow might just be the day.

I must just say, I can see what all the fuss is about with these cars, should have done it years ago.

                        Hello John,

Why not take the grandchildren and give them a ride in your Stag? That might solve all your problems.

                        Have a nice weekend, Dieter.

                          Nice one John, well done.

Has it been running much recently?

Might pay to change the oils and filters before giving it a blast so you know what is in there.

                          Rgds....Al.

Congrats John, welcome to the world of 'burble'

Will we see you on the 3rd May at Newark Air museum to take hold of 'socrates'?

If not, I think Dave M is planning to pass him on later that week on the Humber Bridge
