I have found that most guys in their late 40's early 50's seem to associate Pimento red with Stags for some reason. And this colour seems to be the most preferred and remembered used on Stags from the 70's era.

Mine is not Pimento but Carmine red. I think Pimento is the best one though.

I'm now away to run off before the flack starts

Mines Topaz and its a colour other folks either love or hate, mustbe an in colour again at the moment as I seem to get more positive responses to it than negative these days.

It is a colourthathas to be in good condition to look right, some other colour Stags seem to look"good" even if the tin worm is starting to show.

As Ive said on here before its one of the colours I didnt want, but after looking at a lot of sheds I bought it because of its condition. When I saw the picture in the ad in the SOC mag which was black and white I assumed it was blue, as in blue topaz. I had the car bare metalled about 10 years ago and could have changed the colour but stuck with it as I like it now. My Stag seems odd in that it left the factory in topaz with a biscuit interior where most topaz Stags Ive seen have had black interiors.

Would stillfancy a magenta Stag though and really liked the recently advertised 24K Stag in Aston Martin metallic green.

Yellow is a very goodcolour for the stag as it comes in a few shades but mimosa makes the car stand out very nicely, and yellow being a popular colour used by many motor company's during the 70`s and always on a sports car i would imagine that it is a colour that holds the cars price.....

Nearly bought 2 Inca Yellow Stags but settled for Tahiti blue, manual...

Ironically the first Stag I ever rode in was a Mimosa yellow one as a nipper, one of my Dad's Round Table mates!

And the first Stag I drove...... an Inca yellow one when I was 19.
