Triumph Stag Moulding and Finishers

I am attempting to send a Front Lower Finisher strip to a friend in Gran Canaria but the length he gives for it differs from my Stag. My Stag is 111 cms but he says his is 129.5cms. Can anybody explain how this could be?

Someone switched the upper and lower as well as the left and right horseshoes.

Thanks for that novel suggestion. I have just measured my top one at 114cms so it does not quite answer my mystery..

I have 109 for the top one and 129 for the bottom one. The rear ones are both 120. Your figures of 111 and 114 are suspect.

Mines the same - 109 top, 129 bottom.

Just measured my bottom one. There is a 1.5cm difference depending on whether you measure the straight line from tip to tip or run a tape measure on the outer curvature. Straight measured 129,5 cm. round the curvature 131cm. this could account for the odd +/- 1cm, but lengths of 111 or 114 are nowhere to be found on mine front & rear, upper & lower.

Another thought, do 111 and 114 cm come from another Triumph model?
