Does anyone know what is costs to post a stag diff?

I can't answer the question directly, but there's a useful website https://www.parcel2go.com/services/h...arcel-delivery which provides quotes and a booking facility, if I was buying an exchange diff from the usual sources I would perhaps use this to check on what carriage charges they were asking, and maybe arrange for an alternative carrier to collect on my behalf.

the diff weighs about 30 kg, some carriers will not take it but there are a few that will .They will insist its empty of oil and I would suggest that you wrap it first in a strong plastic bag as it will still have residual oil in it after you have drained it. Good luck, derek

When I sent one it had to be on a small pallet and fully covered in cardboard so there were no sharp edges. Courier came 3 times before he was happy with the packing.

I’ve send diffs (and gearboxes) wrapped in cling film - lots of cling film! A heavy-duty outer sack helps too.

and absolutely no oil in it at all. carriers will have a clause that allows them to rinse you should the carriers van be stained with oil that might leak through the packaging

I used Parcel2Go to send mine to TD Fitchett. The carrier was UPS, distance 165 miles, 1 day delivery and cost £24.
