StagWeber fuse box terminal question

Have bought the SW fuse box and it's a nice solid-looking unit. However, I'm struggling with the piggy-back splitters supplied (which are needed for 8 or so of the terminals) - how are these supposed to go on to the terminals on the fuse box, since the latter are flush with the back with little room around them? I'm probably just missing something as others on here don't seem to have had a problem with this unit, but before I go cutting or bending anything I needn't can someone advise please?

A couple of points about the piggy backs:

They fit OK if your loom has the bare terminals, but some models have insulated shrouds which leave little room for the piggy backs.

In the latter case, the ideal way to do it is to make up a set of extender pigtails each with two wires into one female terminal, the other ends fitted with (insulated) male terminals.
