    Hardtop power supply

Am I right in thinking that power to the hardtop (HRW) is supplied via contacts at the top pf the 'B' posts? Mine look pretty ropey. Any advice please?

Yes, that’s right. New connectors are available. And easy to fit.

      I fitted new ones.
the connector type was not correct on the new ones. Spades, instead of bullets? Iirc.
No real need for them to work though….. good job, the new nylon moldings disintegrated within a few months

As soon as I'm put on my hard top, one broke.

Unfortunately, as is so often the case, the replacements are badly made. The material is far too thin/weak compared with the originals.
          Perhaps "Someone" should tell them?

Indeed, I replaced mine twice in two years and gave up as they broke as soon as the roof was fitted - terrible quality!
