Some years back I bought a set of SOC Toolling fund seals but I’ve been putting off fitting them until today.
Ive had a bit of a seal replacement weekend so far, did the soft top side seals yesterday as two were split and realigned the frame at the same time as it seemed to have moved a little plus when I renovated the car over 25 years ago I never got the window frames correctly aligned so got that done too, bit of a trial but seems better.
The quarterlight seals though we’re actually pretty easy, getting the quarts light out wasn’t too bad but go)g back in was on the left one a real PITA but then I discovered if the two bolts that hold the frame in place that are immediately under the 1/4 light were slackened off a little it allowed the 1/4 light shaft to slide in more easily.
I put plenty of silicons spray on the seals before pushing them into the frame.
Job done
