Front grill badge

I have been looking for a MK2 front grill badge for a couple of months or so now as the MK1 badge on my MK2 car was almost falling out of its chrome holder.
The foil backing of the badge was in bits, some still stuck to the holder some on the back of the badge. I was unsure if it was an original badge or a reproduction.
Anyway I bought a reproduction MK2, had two now, and both were returned as they were poor quality. I am not sure if they are all like this or were seconds.
I have seen the new reproduction badges and I am not 100% sure I like them.
Well a badge came up on my search on eBay £9.95 incl postage. I had originally missed this listing only because it was described as a Stagg badge. Polished up really nice.
Looks identical other than the background colour to the MK1 badge I have.
Can anyone tell me if this is an original badge or a reproduction. TIA.

Looks original to me, the newer ones have wider gaps and are not as “deep”

There are some poor badges on the market at the moment that look nothing like a “proper” stag badge. SOCTFL did a project with soc spares which were very good.

That looks original to me.
