Tree sap & tar spot removal

would like to see recommendations for the most effective (preferably unbranded) tree sap / tar spot remover chemicals please.

was trying today with Isopropyl Alcohol …. It worked but was slow progress.

Tar spots soften with white spirit. Tree sap should shift with warm water and mild detergent.

Branded I know but I use the autoglym tar and spit remover. Works in seconds - probably white spirit in a posh bottle but whatever it is, it works
Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Had to remove large blobs of pine sap from daughter's car, removed the main body of the blob carefully with a Stanley blade (doesn't mark paint if done carefully) then remove rest of residue with a soft cloth and WD40, finally a good coat of wax. Looks great till she parks there again
