Having recently seen tragic pictures of a burnt stag…. Here goes…
A few years ago I fitted new sun visors to my stag.
One night at a local place, having parked my stag, someone shouts through a window mate is that your stag…. It’s on fire!
I ran out & sure enough it was… the passenger seat had started to burn & there were flames.
The cause of ignition was the sun reflecting on the passenger sun visor mirror, back onto the seat…. It was burning, about to get a grip.
The visor was a non original replacement.
Always try to remember to fold it away now.
Realise this was unusual, but it happened…
It was easily extinguished…. But only due to someone noticing in time.
