    Kenlowe Curved blades

Just got a new 16" kenlowe of ebay for a snip.It has curved blades but the instructions are a bit lacking when it comes to the direction they should spin .looking on the website all i can find is a moving avatar on the home page showing them going concave surface forward .Is this the right way?

    Thanks

the outer curved edge should be the leading edge on rotation. the cross section area of the blade uses the aerofoil principle of causing a low pressure area to pull the moved air into..i think.

The air will move most efficiently from the convex to concave side - if you are fitting the fan in front of the rad - i.e. behind the grille - the concave side is to the rad. Convex side to the rad if fitting on the engine side.

Direction of rotation is assumed to be that when the fan motor is wired to the correct polarity as in the instructions.
