Well, my SOC membership will expire soon and I won’t be renewing as I sold my Stag a few months back. I assume l I’ll lose access to the forum too.
I couldn’t resist one last post to see if anyone ever saw or heard from my Stag since I sold it? The body shop that bought it told me they sold it on after fancying it up to someone in the South West (England) - they wouldn’t give new owner details understandably. I see it’s been MOTd since and I keep expecting to spot it at some local classic meets or shows but nowt so far.
I guess the chances are slim in reality, but I also assumed anyone who bought a (now) gleaming purple stag with shiny wire wheels and a white interior was probably the type to want to show it off! Reg was CEE710L. I really would like to see it healthy and happy (or at least know it got to where I couldn’t take it).
I’ll also repeat my thanks before I sign off. This club - the members, this forum, the magazine, the expertise - are a large reason that these beautiful cars still exist in such relatively high numbers. Keep doing what you’re doing.
