these generic unbranded gaskets are the ones to avoid.
Check the amount of gasket material around the rear most fire ring.. yep that is going to last about 3 minutes before is blows.

Admittedly not for a triumph, but Recently received production tooling costs for cylinder head gaskets ($ 140,000) that exceeded the production tooling prices of a cylinder head!
Made a handful of Cometic gaskets seem cheap!
Cometic prototypes were also quicker & cheaper…. Strange times.Last edited by jbuckl; 1 July 2023, 23:03.There are 2 secrets to staying on top :- 1. Don't give everything away.

Cometic head gaskets seem like a non brainer if you ever need to change your head gaskets. High upfront costs but cheaper in long run if these are as good as they say they are.
