Water Pump Rebuild

Hi all

Is this pump worth rebuilding? The impeller is shot, but I see TD Fitchett have NOS ones for £36.

I don't think I have the tools to rebuild it myself, but if it's not worth it I will just chuck it.

Thanks, good spot. The car came with a Davies Craig electric pump installed, but I will change the bush if I change it to the original pump.

Use the rhp bearing.
Use a pioneer Weston 3155 seal.
Use high quality grease. Consider molybdenum disulphide.

Other cheaper items are available.

The cheaper items can result in £1500 worth of damage (diy cost) 4 plus times more if the subsequent repair is ‘professional’

Target a 1Nm torque to turn before refitting the pump.
