Stag valve timing

Anyone out there that can confirm that the stag engine is a non interference engine if the timing chain slips / breaks ?

No it isn't.
If a timing chain slips or breaks, bye-bye to valves & quite possibly pistons & damage to head.

However, there are many signs that the timing chains are worn, both audible and by measurement, so it's likely you'll replace them before a catastrophic failure.

Not like those lovely timing belts that let go in an instant!
