Timing

Where can l find the best instructions on setting up the timing ? Has anyone done a viseo on it ?

Ignition?

put a strobe on no 2 spark plug.
Slacken distributor clamp bolts.
Turn distributor until the strobe shows 12 - 14 degrees advance at idle speed.

Usually without vacuum connected but block the pipe.

The hardest bit is getting at the distributor clamp bolts…

which reminds me I need to get a long 7/16 spanner and bend it!

remove the ignition coil first and any 7/16 AF spanner will get to the distributor clamp bolts

I made a spanner for the job …. It was an offset ring 7/16”

…. can never usually find it though
