Witor top roller bearing strut mounts

I just got a set of these, not doing it until the winter but any tips on installation? I cant find any instructions except "no need for a top washer" but what about all the rest of the removed gubbins??

BTW super fast shipping to east coast USA, and at a reasonable price..

Lol! I’ll report but as I said I’m not doing this until the winter, my stock ones are ok but one side was a bit iffy and I suspect it’s a bit stiff, I did get new bearings for that but eventually decided on the witor ones as I have only seen good things on the forum about them

I fitted them earlier this year, great improvement (mind you my old bearings were quite tight). Steering is really lovely on the old girl now, smooth as you like. As it should be, since the entire front suspension has been overhauled, but those roller top bearings are v good.

Nothing much to add to the instructions - as they say, no top washer is needed, and follow the torque recommendation (I forget what it was, lol.) I used proper mastic to seal the top face of the bearing housing to the underside of the strut tower.
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

After my months of trying to fix my ride height I bought a complete set of rebuilt struts and roller top mounts from Chris. They are fantastic and as Wilf said, smooth as and make a big difference over the knock offs available today. Highly recommended.

Can’t comment on assembling them as mine were already done with the new struts.

I seem to recall that there was criticism of the over assisted power steering on the stag, this is the real basis of my interest. More often than not I am relying on uos strut top mounts rather than the new chinesium. If this product is well worthwhile then it becomes something that I can seriously consider.
