Hi, it does look as if you can rotate the top around 180, not that I have tried that. Simple to try if you do undo the screws.

I have installed mine next to the fuel pump. Hidden by the carpet. I cannot remember why but I understand that the pressure gauge should not be left in place after you have made the adjustments you need. PXL_20220703_175905819.MP.jpg

Unless your gauge is a fluid filled on it should only be fitted while setting the pressure, a friends broke and leaked fuel

Yes have successfully re-oriented the top on a malpassi….

Fwiw I only use it for pressure checks & fault finding.

it’s too ugly to leave on…. But APS’s installation looks neat.

the malpassi bracket is awful….. the fuel in the bowl must be like a James Bond cocktail…..maybe even stirred too.

              almost no stiffness at all.

The bracket on mine looks like it would have come with the filter and it’s pretty thick material, no floppiness detected.

Ah but you’ve never had the job title ‘Chief Engineer (5hitty Brackets)’

My malpassi bracket would allow the mass of the filter to resonate…. Every reason not to use it permanently.

I was thinking of fitting a Filter King on the project car using a custom shock mount

                        Cheers
