    External Water Pump Conversion

I understand that there is an external waterpump conversion available. Can someone advise where I can obtain the full kit from please including any brackets hoses etc.

    Many thanks
    Paul

Sadly, no longer available since Steve Hill has stopped producing them.

Do you mean the electric pump conversion? Company called Davies Craig makes the pumps, not sure if there is a kit available. Try googling "EWP water pump".
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

EJ Ward no longer sells the bare kit, but they do sell a full service kit and install:

and here is a DIY guide posted by Davies Craig, but apparently not authored by them:

          Hi Paul,
I was lucky enough to get a Stagdad water pump, but I did look at the Car Builder Solutions Davies Craig EWP115 Kit.

          Regards,

I've got the DC electric pump fitted - just the 80 litre/min version (which is Ward's standard offering). Plenty enough flow in my experience. I particularly like how the controller runs the fan & pump on after switch-off for 3 min or until the water temp drops to 10C below the set point (usually about 2 min). This prevents the heat soak raising the engine temp to 105+C - not seen on the original Temp gauge as it goes off with the ignition. Eliminates the vapourised petrol aroma (perfume) in the garage and may well sort the hot-starting problem experienced by many. Pity Ward's don't still offer as a kit - I was lucky and got mine before they made it supply & install only. If you do buy the pump & controller from another source, it's worth getting Ward's hose set to simplify installation.
