Hi All, just finishing up at the front end and have these two flexi hoses that came unfitted with my project. They look fine so was planning to fit them however have some questions...

The flat ended fitting I assume goes into the caliper, I assume copper washers would be used to seal as they do not have beveled ends. I have test fitted them with a copper washer however they bottom out in the caliper before clamping down on the washer should there be an additional nut that is used to tighten them into the Caliper crushing the washer also a star washer perhaps ?

Secondly it seems the pipes are too short. With the steering on full lock I trial fitted the pipe and assuming that I want to run it in the way shown in the ROM with the flexi looping up and then pointing straight down to the locating L Plate attached to the crossmember where it joins the copper pipe.

Any suggestions greatfully received. Also if anyone has a pair of these off the car and can measure the length that would also be useful in case these are simply the wrong length.
