    Soft Top Refurb

    Hi all

Can anyone assist please as I would like to strip down and overhaul my soft top but unsure of what’s what.

Does anyone have any drawings of the different stages of a refurb with what goes where please?

Alternatively does anyone know anyone in the Cleckheaton/Leeds area who would be prepared to take this on but without astronomical prices please?

Your support as always is appreciated.

    Many thanks again.

I've taken on most jobs, but when it came to the soft top I decided to bite the bullet re cost and go to a specialist. My thinking was that a good result would depend on learning from having done it several times before, and I wasn't confident I'd get it right on the first attempt or even recognise where I'd made a mistake. Not saying its impossible, though - it would be good to know if others have had success without prior experience?

Agree with Philip. I got through restoring a few hundred before it became routine. But they do vary in how bad they are, and some frames are so bent and messed up it can be a pig to put them right again.

Yep, at least the first will be a learning curve.

Great service experienced at south east trimming.

DO NOT ENTRUST TO A GENERAL CAR TRIMMER.
