I have a number of paint blisters along the bottom of both doors. Can any one recommend someone who can sort this out. Trying to avoid having new skins fitted.
As Julian says I have recently bitten the bullet and had both doors re-skinned and I used MJR Body repairs in Park Lane, Kidderminster.
MJR have done 2/3 lots of bodywork/paint on my Stag and they repaired both doors approx 8 years ago. They lasted well but as they’d started bubbling again I bought new door skins and bottom repair channels and handed these over to MJR to fit and fettle.
I’m well pleased with the results, see the photos below, and several members have commented on the door shuts and the clunk, when the doors are closed- not a clang!
If you visit MJR, tell them I sent you and ask for Kevin or Mark, equally if you want to see my car first, send me a PM.
