    aerial position

Can someone please tell me how long the distance from the edge of the wing to the aerial on the passeger rear wing please

My stag hasnt got one fitted and i am sure it is supposed to go on the passenger side !?!??!? I want to fit a leccy aerial also and there isnt much room on the drivers side

I don't think there is a 'proper' location. Mine is drivers side rear and the DPO has put a small dent in the inner arch to get it to fit. I would like to move it to the other side but I don't want to leave a hole i the wing!

I would put it passenger side just behind the rear of the inner arch. That is going to be the only place at the back with enough room for the leccy aerial to fit.

    Rgds

Dave, you beat me to it, I agree there is no correct place i have seen them on both front and both rear wings, but passenger side rear gives most space for the aerial motor.

i am also thinking put it on the passenger side as i lean on the car when i stick petrol in it and i would be gutted if i broke the aerial while leaning on it

Does anyone who has the aerial fitted have a measuarement they can give me please - pics would be good also as ya can never have enough pics of a stag on her imo

I always thought if the aerial is on the passenger side then it could get caught by a passing bush or something

If you have not drilled the hole in the rear wing yet

buy the small rubber ones and fit it behind the rear bumper and no bushes to worry about

Can do but will have to be in the morn, car is parked at my brothers (locked yard)will be nicked in no time here in Southall or bits and pieces will go missing until the car is no morethat's why my postcode pays one of the most highest premiums.

Measurement of Aerial from chrome horse shoe to CENTRE of Aerial 9 inches, or from horse shoe to back edge of Aerial 8 1/2 inches.

                        Sukh.

                          Hi there.

I have measured mine and it is 14.1/4" from the centre of the aerial to the trailing edge of the horseshoe. Exactly the same distance from the centre of the aerial to the front edge of the boot.

I have been out today with three other Stags on a Drive-It-Day outing. I looked at their aerials for you. Three of us had them on the NSR wing, all different places. One was nearer the front, the other nearer the rear. The fourth car had it on the OSR wing.
