Isle of Man import

Hi, my Stag was built in 1971 and delivered new to a dealer in Stockport. I believe it was then sold and registered in the Isle of Man and was imported back into England (and registered) in 1989. I have a bad ( mostly illegible)photocopy of the import document. Does anyone know how I might track down any history from its IOM days?

You could try emailing Peter Robinson, the SOC Registrar. Give him the Commission Number (inside the passenger side door shut) as well as the registration He holds quite a lot of information if any POs passed this on. He may be limited as to what he can pass on due to Data Protection Regs (GDPR).
