    Red Stag on e bay

After recent post about so called Mk1's I wonder what anyone else thinks about this one, 140401809733 on e bay, I say this because of the door locks, it's supposedly slightly older than my Mk2 by a couple of months but looks to have the later door locks. am I right in that something is wrong here!:?

    Ian.

    Hi Ian

This is a MK2 and looks correct to me do you have MK1 locks on yours then?

Maybe your car is a MK1 1/2 that was registered late?

Seen this before on a local Stag I looked at for a new member last year.

Mine, like yours, is a couple of months newer than this one, but has the Mk1 locks and no hazard lights. There was some crossover in sanction builds towards the end of the year. I would guess that the red one has a low LD30000 series number, whereas yours and mine have late LD20000 series numbers.

Thanks for the Info Stuart/Dave, My Car must be as you say a Mk1 1/2. (Mk1 locks and no Hazard lights)from memory the chassis no is just under 2500 and as far as I can work out built between September and November 73.
