F18A434D-4B25-4E24-8AD7-587F7E0881B9.jpg Hi everyone, has anyone used a sierra header tank on their car. I’m guessing the bottom connection goes to left side of radiator about 2/3rds down, next one up goes to neck of rad just below brass plug, not sure what to do with top two I’m guessing they are over flow/breather pipes. Many thanks Steve

Top metal pipe is overflow / over pressure exit.
Next one down is feed in from engine out / top hose (must be restricted flow) next one down is a Ford application… not needed.
next one down (large) needs to go low down on left radiator side or can be teed into the Waterpump inlet.
This is a partial bypass installation….. only when used with a restrictor.
Other configurations end up being a full bypass of the radiator, which can be a detractor for the modification…. But have seen it on quite a few.
Have seen some specialist supplied systems that are badly / pointlessly plumbed in.
Fwiw the Sierra tank fits nicely , as does Mercedes w124 coolant header tank.Last edited by jbuckl; 28 October 2023, 17:37.
