So my Wipers work !... The delay works, park works, Low speed works and Hi speed works. However the difference between Hi and Lo speeds is zilch both run about 26 wipes per minute. (no blades fitted as I dont have the screen in!) I did strip and clean the motor and one of the brushes (hi speed one) was damaged so i replaced it. Any suggestins or is this one of those things that probably leads to a new motor...

I assume you cleaned and re greased the rack, Chris? I took the one off the car in my garage last night and it was a wonder the thing moved it was so gummed up with old grease and the wheelhouse cog wheels were a bit rusty which wouldn’t have helped.Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. I am wondering about the brushes…. I noticed when I replaced the one brush that it was half the thickness at the end whereas the other two were the full width. The brushes I bought were square at the ends as well so my replaced brush is like the other two. If you look at the pic from the brush plate rimmer sell it has the same “half width” brush perhaps this relates to speed ? Only one way to find out I guess !!!

I took a Dremmel to the square brush that I had fitted and voila ! I now have a slow speed and a high speed ! Only issue is that low speed is on position 2 of the wiper switch, I think I saw another post about this recently with the replacement switches. Jut a case of switching the wires I guess…
