    Starting from hot

    Hi all

have a problem with my Stag. The car won't virtually start from hot. If I get it idle-ing it immediately stalls when I only touch the accelerator ... or engage the 1st gear in auto.

starting from cold is fine, as well as driving around.

    Any advise for me ?

    Thanks

    Tom

Ps.: The car doesn't collapse if you remove the t-bar ...

Hi, this exactly my problem with the RILY RMA recently sold to pay for my STAG !! everyone said "Vapour Lock" Many said Many other things. NOTHING solved it. Drive really well, stop for coffee. DEAD> chatting to guy even older than me [retired garage owner/mechanic] he said as a apprentice in early 1930's he was told ALWAYS FIT NEW PLUGS first if unidentified problem .... you can always refit originals. So new set of plugs [looking no better than the set I removed....] problem cured !!!!! It seems plugs can look & work well, but still let you down, & trying a new set takes no time & you should carry a set anyway.

          Best of luck FOXY

Sounds like to me it's flooding when you stop the engine. Check the carb set up imo.
