Front seat heat

I constantly have warm air coming out on my feet. It doesnt matter what I put where will the lavers it’s always there. When its 40 outside its the last thing I want. I have the whole floor hump and football covered in deadner and heat foil. Does anyone have any idea where it’s coming from? The dash air pipes are all secure. TIA

You shouldn't get heat in the footwell if the RH lever is in the up "Off" position. If you do, then there is either something blocking the flap and stopping it from closing, or the cable needs adjusting. Is the heater valve closing off when the horizontal lever is in the "Cold" position? If not, it could be seized and the outer sleeve of the operating cable could have become detached from its clip on the heater box.

I had the opposite - no heat coming into the cabin.
The heater cable wasn't attached.
Once reattached I get to choose.
