Missing Links

When I use the search function I frequently find answers to questions that then refer to a link to another thread or piece of info that is missing... Latest was a Dasa Drew link to a thread that gave me a 404 error.

Is this something that can be fixed ?

404 error means the page no longer exists. Either because the link is incorrect, or the web page has changed since the link was posted. Nothing to do with the forum software.

I have found a few over time this is an example

try replacing www.stag.org.uk with www.socforum.com

I think he means links in the forum to older posts. I have found many like that as well, usually using Google to find posts on the forum, but linking to the old software. I think Drew's fix works though.

I see now that the link was to quite an old post. The forum was changed several years ago and some of the links to very old posts may not work.
