    head gaskets

Will be needing a set of head gaskets soon . Was looking for cometic but can't see where to buy them .
So was thinking if anyone has used the ones from robsport. It says its a top quality British gaskets. And has the red line like bga gaskets.
    Are they any good ?
    Cheers

I understand this has been discussed many times but I think the supply of gaskets also changes regularly.

      Hi Richard,

My last set of BGA gaskets from Robsport lasted 10 years, they are good quality but this time I used Cometic as I was luckly enough to buy a spare pair off Steve Hill - they are not yet commercially available for retail unless you can convince Enginuity to sell you a pair, they are the only company I know of that uses them and helped in the design of them with Tony Hart.

      Cheers

Standard thickness SOCTFL/BGA gaskets will be available again assuming I can get the retailers to take some. Will let you know

I hope there will be some standard thickness ones available as they are the only ones I use on my high performance engines

Hi Richard I have a pair of the SOC Spares gaskets still in the wrapping these are the +20 thick ones with a red seal around the edge. If you are having a skim these might suit your requirements. I paid £70 for them but would accept £50 as they surplus to requirements. Chris
