Rear exhaust hanger clamp idea … improved?

IMG_1905.png Have had issues with exhaust rear hanger clamps either being missing or bodged or not functioning….

Had an idea to make a mikalor type clamp that works with the hanger arrangement.

wanted to post an image… seems impossible to do that with a new iPhone photo now # silly restrictions.

Bar needs cutting to length & welding or joining to clamp.

Could be fit and forget

with (stainless) bolt, washers and pinch - nut ?

are the oval brackets still being offered in stainless steel still?

I've successfully used the standard style stainless brackets with poly bushes, stainless bolts & hardware. ISTR that the stainless brackets are a little on the tight side so some fettling was needed. After about 20,000 miles I replaced the exhaust and was able to re-use those hanger brackets.

I've used Mikalor clamps everywhere else though.
