I've heard this all before with regard to my Lotus Elise and Honda engine swops.
One specialist pioneered the conversion, then slowly othersoffered their version on the same thing.
Then a supplier started offering a kit only for the DIYers.
The Lotus forums are full of 'this kit is better than than kit' 'they copied my kit after all my research and investment' etc etc
Its inevitable and with regard to the Elise Honda engine swops the market has grown as a result and there would be too much work for one supplier anyway.
Choice is a good thing

The ZF is not a straight swap. Tate and Lewis totally strip the box and refurb it, they fit a new rear unit to match the prop and mounting, a re con modified torque converter and new bell housing to match the Stag engine plus more. A lot of research, investment and work has gone into it.
Jeff.
silly question no2 coming up.
why not get a good scrapper and fit with adaptor kit or such like?
surely 2k seems loads especially as it a common box or am i showing ignorance is bliss?
