Photo taken when I took the engine out of my previous, Mk1 Stag in 2002.
The holes were still there for the early Mk2 (Mk1.5 - LD20001 series) production, but this used the same Mk1 body.

Shells are either MK1 or Mk2 Chris (although never called that by the factory). I have a Mk2 shell here (M reg) that also has the holes so I would assume they didn't change the turret tooling throughout the build run. The crossover (mk1.5 as it is colloquially known) is a MK1 shell with predominantly MK2 innards - clocks, cooling system, seats etc, which would have been using up the stock of shells whcih lasted longer than the stock of interiors etc.Originally posted by Chris01573 View Post
Ok but the door latches are mk2 so is this a crossover ?Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't
