Login is forgotten each time

Anyone else out there with the same problem?

It started on the iPhone that it never "remebered me" even when the box was ticked. Thought it's probably some new security feature for less secure websites or whatever. Now it's started to do it on the PC and the laptop.

Have tried typing in login and then remember me, and vice versa. No difference.

I know this isn't the end of the world, but flippin' annoying.

Am I alone?

Never had that problem Drew. Even with remember me unticked my iphone and MacBook log me starlight in. Always been the same

One thing to try is to log in and then make a new favourite in your browser, then use that favourite to open the page. ISTR that fixed it for me once.

the other thing is I think it remembers you with cookies.. maybe check your cookie settings in the browser

Can't work out why it was fine for years and now - on all equipment - is playing up. Can't even be my Interenet Security software as that's only on the PC.

Same problem here.

Also, cannot happily accept that a member has to have more than one login.

one for here and another for Soc.

too many portal logins in modern times…. Yuck.

Are you referring to the Forum login or the SOC main website login? I find that the main website doesn't remember me and, whenever I login to read the monthly magazine, I have to re-enter my username and password. For the forum, once logged in, I saved that as a favourite and it remembers me each time, whether using iPhone, iPad or iMac.

I'm referring to the Forum, which suddenly wants to forget it knows me. (probably not the first time in my life it's happened, but then only from humans)

staying logged in has never worked for me, 3 different android phones and 2 laptops.

Sometimes as I go from the main forum screen to this forum it will log me in, else I need to click login and rely on google to remember the details.

I binned the link I had on the PC and created a new one as suggested above - ok on the PC now - it remembers me. Must try the same on the iPhone

Seems variable. Sometimes remembers, sometimes doesn’t.
