Hi all, what’s the best way of reassembling the rear suspension, I have subframe trailing arms nose cone diff springs and shocks all off the car. When I offered up the trailing arms the long bolts that go through the bushes, seem to point to the rear of the car, and when I tried to torque them up it wouldn’t break and I stripped the threads. It’s a new wrench from Halfords is it better to torque from the top of the bolt. Many thanks Steve.

You should't really be tightening those bolts up until the assembly is back on the car, and the weight taken by the wheels. Also, push the car back and fore a few times to allow the suspension to settle in to place.
Then do the tightening. The bolts should be fitted pointing outwards, and the torque wrench applied to the nuts.
Mike.
