T bar foam padding

Has anyone made their own or used a certain material. Don’t fancy paying retail prices to replace my crumbling foam. Thank you

The foam is the only thing which gives the padded T-Bar its shape. It's moulded to fit the inner metal tubes and presents the outer surface contour for the vinyl cover. Can't really see how you'd be able to get the T-Bar cover to have the correct shape and contour without the formed foam bits.
