Boot lock linkage

Could someone confirm or offer an alternative?

I need a couple of boot lock linkage retaining clips, are they the same as used on the door lock linkages, GHF1180?

I ask because the hole through the striker section is slightly smaller than the push button lock section, and I wondered if different clips were required for each end of the connecting linkage wire.

I reckon its GHF1180 for both ends, John, this being the right clip for 1/8 inch diameter linkage rods. I believe they are also known as BHA4705 in MG applications, e.g. as on the MGB Hive website https://mgbhive.co.uk/product/ghf118...-clip-bha4705/
