I thought +40 pistons had become scarce?
no concerns about wall thickness afaiaa.
probably improves heat transfer into cooling …. May need to consider checking if a hotter thermostat is needed.
most ‘fixed -up’ stags probably end up running too cool these days …. Due to pub - talk anxiety

Don't worry about going + 40, thats what is in the engines of my Stag, and the Stag engined TR. The stag has orginal AE Pistons and the the TR has County pistons.
They are both producing over 250bhp and rev to 7000rpmNeil
TV8, efi, fast road cams and home built manifolds. 246bhp 220lbft torqueComment
