Staying logged in…. Or not ever now

Been logged in here for a few years.

Something changed and I don’t stay logged in anymore.

it should be one subscription; one login; access all areas stay logged in.

    but it isn’t.

membership enthusiasm is at a low.

    Renewal due in July.

staying logged in on this forum rarely works for me!

As a retired IT professional, I wouldn't recommend staying logged in on ANY type of online account - regardless of "out of date / obsolete software" or not.

Yes, it can be a pain not having a "common" single point of access but I wouldn't consider that as a factor to relinquishing membership to one of the best Owners club.

+1, as a retired computer scientist and victim of sustained 3rd party online fraud since 2012 on which subject I now consider myself to be an expert in terms of how this works from technology and legislation / regulation viewpoints. Anything you can do to minimise the window of opportunity for criminals is a goood thing.

I've never had an issue with staying logged in, on the iPad or PC.

On the PC side, I reckon the browser has a lot to do with it. I use Firefox ESR with it set to tell me when it's going to need any updates, I don't use Chrome or Edge.

Same applies to Windows 10, set to tell me when updates need installing, telling me what they are and giving me the opportunity to refuse - not had to yet though.
