Rev counter flicks when indicating

Just recently my rev counter has started to flick while I put the indicators on. Has anybody got any knowledge as to why this is happening and how it can be rectified?

I would start by checking the earth of the flasher unit and the earth of the tach.

Easy fix. The alternator was not charging the battery. Found out the hard way when battery went flat. Now fixed and all working ok.

one to keep an eye on, we are all so keen to keep an eye on temperature we sometimes forget to look at the amps.
