upper steering house rubber ring to regulate pressure to slide the steering column

I am refurbishing my steering house hereby pictures of the rubber ring which is in the upper steering housing and serves for regulating the tension of sliding out the steering wheel.The ring is open for regulation of the tension when you pull out the steering wheel (sliding position of the steering wheel)

A friend of mine checked it in his stag and has also this item in the upper steering, but you don’t see it in the parts catalog.

Where can I get this rubber Ring????

Hereby the shaft from upper steering coulumn where the rubber ring should fit on,but which isn't in my stag, on the other one it is fitted

Without a part number I think you will have difficulty in tracking one down.
I had a quick look at Rimmers website as if it was ever available it would probably be on there, the fact that it isn't shown would suggest that the part was never available seperately.

Hello,

I will try to make the same shape as the rubber ring (which fits in the splines of the shaft) with polymer, if this works the problem is solved.
