Bolts under door

Just noticed 2 small bolts loose on the underside of the driver's door. They are approx 5cm apart and 37cm from the rear of the door. They seem to tighten up ok (they but before I rip off the door card can anyone tell me what they are for? Is it something to do with motor mounting ? or for holding a bracket to the door?

If your on about the two small bolts on the bottom of the door, there for the glass bump stop

Thanks for prompt reply. I think you're right. Although the bolts did tighten (finger tight) I presume they just grip the rubber as it didn't feel like a nut on the other end.

Mine have flat nuts on the top of the rubber blocks.

This would explain why they did seem to be screwing into something. I didn't push it though as I didn't know what I was dealing with. Thanks for the help
