    Headlight units

Hi all, any recommendations for replacement H4 units, mine have fogged up seal must be gone, was looking at the Hella H4 advertised on fleabay,
    thanks

Assuming these are lamp units with separate H4 lamps then If the "fogging" is like a white deposit on the inside of the glass, then this will just wipe off. Remove the unit and the H4/H1lamp then carefully lever off the metal lamp support ring (see pic) and use a piece of clean soft cloth poked through the hole, use a piece of wooden dowel (use the handle of a wooden spoon) or use a screwdriver to move the cloth around and wipe the white foggy deposit off of the inside of the glass. I have had this on several of my older cars when they have been laid up for a while and the lights not used.

    PICT5638.jpg Shows the cloudy/fogging

PICT5637.jpg Carefully lever off this ring to give access to bigger hole to get cloth through
