    Seat bolster foam

Does anyone know of a source of just the front seat bolster foam? I have tried several sellers on the internet but they all only sell them as a complete back foam

Jim at SE Trimming sells the a kit made up of several pieces as well as the one piece foams but you’ll still have to buy a whole kit for each seat.

Thanks Paul. I have just telephoned Jim and he will supply the bolsters separately. Friendly helpful guy

He was encouraging me to do the job myself. He said it is quite easy but messy as long as you don't remove any clips holding the webbing on.

It’s not hard to do. Look up richardthestag (church house classics) on you tube, he has a video on doing just this job.

Spray adhesive from Screwfix works ok

                  two videos

was about replacing the front seat back sections

I worked with the seat bolster / base in this video from 21:35

seat bolster foam is usually salvageable as it will be the rubber diaphragm that will have failed

honestly the worst part of the job is the mess of the side foam remains on the seat back, they turn into a foam equivalent of fox poo

the bit you need to be most careful with is the tension strips which pull away from the inside of the cover very easily. you then need to get creative with zip ties as you saw in the video. I didn't break those they were broken already
